Tasting Notes
Aroma:

The 2022 LVE Napa Valley Red unveils vibrant aromas of dark blackberry and lavender, accented by nuances of herbal tea and white pepper.

Palate:

The elegant combination of Petite Sirah’s firm tannins with the smoothness of Merlot results in a wine that is both intricate and well-rounded, offering a lingering finish with notes of forest floor and bittersweet chocolate.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

This Red Wine combines two distinct vineyards. The Petite Sirah comes from over 20-year-old vines rooted in Rutherford's lush Pleasanton loam soils, rich in clay. The Merlot vines, younger and vibrant, thrive in the dense, clay-laden Haire loam soils of Carneros. Carneros' cooler climate enhances the Merlot's depth and bright acidity, creating a wine with balanced structure and refined texture.
